Notes

This reference 130 was purchased at the Antiquorum, The Art of Patek Philippe sale in April 1989, lot 47. Bought and then placed in a safe, the watch has remained untouched and unworn for the last 30 years. Recently rediscovered by the family, the watch is part of the only 8 examples so far that have surfaced on the market featuring a stainless steel case and rose gold bezel. Interestingly, the extract does not mention the pink gold bezel (for a similar case see Christies, June 2018, lot 29), but confirms the black dial with raised arabic steel numerals at 12 and 6 o’ clock and the tachometer scale. It is without a doubt, combined with the retailers signature; the most desirable two-tone 130 to re-surface on the market and is the only example known featuring a black dial.
