Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 22 x 12.5 cm. REFERENCE 1373 SOLAR-POWERED AND ELECTROMECHANICAL CLOCK ? Ref. 1373 was created to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the foundation of Switzerland. ? One of the traditional craftsmanship ? Geneva enamel was used to draw many important scenes and events in Switzerland. ? The dial shows the flag of the original Kanton (the bull?s head is Kanton Uri, the small white cross is Kanton Schwytz, and the keys represent Kanton Unterwald). ? The cloisonné technique was used and the motif outline uses about 20 meters of 18K white gold. ? The power source is from the solar cells on top of the dome. ? The solar power energy switches to electrical power and drives the movement. ? Patek Philippe took 8 months to complete this table clock.
