PATEK PHILIPPE, REF. 1518, PERPETUAL CALENDAR CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD, SO CALLED "THE LUCKY 1518" Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 867757, case No. 661075, Ref. 1518. Made in 1949, sold in June 1951. Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, square button chronograph, register and tachometer. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives, service box and a Patek Philippe service invoice dated January 2016 in the amount of Euros 6'900.
Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave bezel and lugs, snap-on case back, 8 mm. winding crown. Satine silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and round indexes, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, graduation for the days of the month at 6, outer 1/5th seconds track and tachometer graduation, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Yellow gold feuille hands. 13''', stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
