Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 35 mm. THICKNESS 14 mm. Property of the original Italian family, never appeared at auction Maintained in great condition by the family as can clearly be seen by the still present two clean hallmarks on the case and the mint dial, devoid from any chips or scratches. Having just completed a full overhaul at Patek Philippe Geneva less than a year ago, a great opportunity to acquire one of the best Patek's ever created and ready to wear. Kept by the owner hidden in the adjacent laundry room, the entire house was entirely ravaged by flames. Unfortunately the original certificate was destroyed, but the watch escaped unscathed from the ordeal, earning the nickname: "The lucky 1518"
