Notes

Property of an important Italian family. Ref. 1526. Launched in 1941 as the companies first production perpetual calendar wristwatch, the 1526 is often overshadowed by its big brother, the perpetual calendar chronograph ref. 1518 introduced the same year as a world-first. The ref. 1526 used movement Cal.12"'-120 within a classic Calatrava style case and remained in production until 1952 with only 210 examples manufactured. Today both models can be considered iconic for their simple well-proportioned designs and respective roles in establishing Patek Philippe as a world-leader in horology
