Bought in the Art of Patek Philippe Antiquorum sale in April 1989 (Lot 223), the watch has been kept in a deposit box for the last 30 years untouched. Recently rediscovered by the family, reference 2472 is almost always found with baton indexes, in fact this example is the only one ever sold at Antiquorum featuring dot indexes and fancy swirl design
