The watch is stamp, outside the case-back, with French Assay Office import hallmark (owl) and Jean Guillermin master’s mark (“J G & Cie” inside a horizontal oval), the Parisian distributor of the Genevan brand.

The Extract from the Archives, dated September 19, 2019, mentioned that this watch was sold on May 2, 1955.

This reference is launched in 1954.
This round-shaped watch is fitted with the Cal. 10-200.
The majority in yellow gold, more rarely in pink gold.
Very few examples were produced.
The Ref. 2549-2 is the same model with black dial, while Ref. 2549 is with taurus horn-shaped lugs, so-called by collectors “Devil’s Horns”. Bibliography
