Notes

The Patek Philippe Ref. 2554 is one of the rarest post-war models produced by the renowned Geneva manufacture, founded in 1839. Known among collectors as the “Manta Ray” for its distinctive case shape, its elegant and forward-looking design was remarkably ahead of its time. This aesthetic was revisited some four decades later, in the 2000s, with the introduction of Ref. 5100 to mark the dawn of the new millennium. Exceptionally rare on the market, with the last similar example offered by Antiquorum dating back to 2012, the present watch represents a highly desirable opportunity for collectors of Patek Philippe.
