Production of this reference started in 1959. Caliber 27-400 AM is equipped with a bronze-beryllium lever escapement, and is sometimes fully protected by a soft iron cap. It can withstand magnetic fields up to 450 oersteds unit of measurement of the intensity of a magnetic field. Sold new to the current owner at the retailer Union Suiza in February 1968, it has been kept in excellent condition with a clear punch mark to the side of the case and the original certificate.
