Notes

Property of an Important Collector Family

The Patek Philippe Reference 3433R (1960–1966) is an exceptionally elusive and highly sought-after rare vintage timepiece. It is estimated that only 500 examples were produced across all metals - including yellow gold, white gold, pink gold and platinum. According to research, there are roughly 30 in yellow gold (3433J) known on the market today. The pink gold 3433R is among the scarcest, with only three examples documented in public records— making it rarer than the platinum version (approx. four known).

Accompanied by the Extract from the Archive dated 18 March 2026, it confirms this Ref. 3433, cased in 18K pink gold, features a silvered dial with applied rose pink gold hour markers by Stern Frères, was manufactured in 1961 and sold on 6 March 1962. This watch represents a significant discovery as possibly the fourth known example to the market.

Consigned by an important Hong Kong collector family after 20 years, this exquisite and exceptionally rare timepiece appears at auction for the first time, offering a unique opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable 1960s Patek Philippe Calatravas.
