Notes

The firm Patek Philippe, along with other Swiss manufacturers, became part of a new endeavor, the 'Electronic WatchCenter' (CEH), for the study of a quartz wrist caliber. Developed and finished after one year of research, the caliber Beta21 (29 x 24,3 mm.) was ready for production in 1969 and was presented at the Basel Fair in 1970. While the vast majority of watches either had integrated bracelets or simply a removable bracelet, examples featuring lugs are extremely rare and this is the first example ever to be offered at Antiquorum.
