Having remained in the same family, this custom-ordered Patek Philippe was delivered to the famous Patek Philippe retailer Zigerli + Iff in Berne. While certain onyx dials were found at the time on the smaller reference 3748 and the Golden Ellipse reference 3634, this is the first time a Jumbo Ellipse with onyx dial has appeared on the market. Complete with its original certificate, it confirms the onyx dial it is without doubt, one of the rarest Ellipse made.
