Notes

The iconic watch designed by Gerald Genta needs no further introduction. While the huge majority were cased in steel, gold examples were produced in much smaller quantities with a few variations. This version a 3700/3 which means the bezel is adorned with a double row of diamonds on the bezel (112 diamonds totalling 1.55 ct.) as confirmed by the certificate of origin. The original Gay Freres/Patek Philippe band is tight showing little stretch and both hallmarks are still clearly visible on the caseback indicating little wear. It is one of the very rare examples of this reference still accompanied by its certificate of origin.
