Notes

Property of the original owner
When the current owner was twenty five years old, he distinctly remembers his father taking him to Beyer to choose his birthday present. He was immediately attracted to the large stainless steel and futuristic design of the 3700. He bought the watch and it stayed with him until today. Still fitted with its original box (proof that not all early Jumbo Nautilus only came with the cork box as the owner clearly recalls getting this box with the watch), as soon as the watch was fitted with 2 fewer links, they were put in the box where they still remain today. Made in the first year of production, but sold only in November 1977, the watch has been very well maintained and has developed a beautiful patina on the tritium indexes and hands. The fact that the dial is further retailed by Beyer enhances its collectability. According to our research this is only the third stainless steel 3700 retailed by Beyer to be offered on the market.
