Notes

Launched shortly after the Jumbo reference 3700, the mid-size Nautilus was the more regular size with a diameter of 37.5 mm. While the initial design was a sporty watch in steel, the firm expanded its offer to steel and gold as well as full gold versions such as this example. Often found with champagne dials with or without diamond indexes, this has the beautiful blue dial that has a slight blue/green tint from age and is in very good overall condition with perfectly matching indexes and hands. Furthermore the two hallmarks at the back of the lugs are crisp and deep indicating little polish.

Provenance

Property of an Australian collector
