Notes

Reference 3940 was the first modern perpetual calendar launched after the 3448/3450 and production continued until 2006. A testament to its success and timeless design, it is no surprise that it was for a long time, worn daily by Mr. Philippe Stern. Purchased new by the consignor at the Gubelin in 1988, this example is part of the second series which was produced between 1987 to 1995 and has been kept in excellent condition with all its accessories.
