This specific dial was produced in a few examples at the time of the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympic Games (Norway). One can assume that this watch was given to a celebrity to celebrate the victory of the small Norwegian town over these competitors following their victory in the Winter Olympics. This locality is again in the spotlight at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
