Produced in 1991, this platinum 3970 is from the rare second series as seen by straight baton indexes, the large hallmarks on the outside of the lugs and the solid platinum screwback case. Only a handful of second series platinum 3970's have appeared on the market and demand has finally started to pick-up especially when accompanied by its original certificate and an extra black diamond-set dial such as this example.
