18K yellow gold, manual-winding, vertical rectangular-shaped, gentleman’s wristwatch, snap-on case-back, black colour dial with radial applied yellow gold indexes and subsidiary seconds at 6.

9-90 calibre, cut bimetallic balance with gold poising screws and blued steel Breguet hairspring, index regulator with spring and micrometric screw.

Patek Philippe, Reference 425

This reference is launched in 1934 and remained in production until the early-1960s. The majority in yellow gold and platinum, more rarely in rose gold, even more rarely in white gold. Around 2 500 examples were produced. The model was replaced in 1960 by Ref. 2461 (slightly larger). The watch is so-called “Tegolino” by collectors.
