Notes

The present watch is an exceptional unique example of the Sky Moon Tourbillon, the pink gold case was made to special order for a very valued client of Patek Philippe. The case as originally designed by Patek Philippe for the reference 5002 features the company?s Calatrava symbol in relief in a repeated pattern around the band. This watch with case No. 4382101 was made with a ribbed band composed of six concentric ribs, the edges of the covers giving the effect of eight ribs in total, this unique decoration continues on the repeat-slide. It is only on very rare occasions that Patek Philippe will consider a special order request and then only ever for clients with a long history of exceptional purchases over many years. The present watch is one of those very special watches affording the collector the once-only chance to acquire not only the most complicated wristwatch ever made by Patek Philippe but a unique - and therefore one of the most rarefied and desirable examples of the Sky Moon Tourbillon.
