Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 14.5 mm. The ref. 5004 officially ended production in 2011 with the last 50 movements cased in stainless steel (see lot 249). This particular example was sold at the Patek Philippe boutique in Geneva in September 2011, so it might be one of the last examples produced. Kept in mint condition and with a particularly attractive combination of a yellow gold case and black dial with arabic numerals (confirmed by the certificate), this is the only known example in yellow gold with a black dial and the only one ever to appear at auction.
