Released in 1998, the Patek reference 5070 was a big surprise to the market when launched as a new simple chronograph almost 40 years after their previous release. Cased in a large 42 mm case, it was available in 3 versions only: yellow gold with black dial, pink gold with silver dial, white gold with silver dial. At the end of its run a platinum version was launched featuring a blue dial.
