The minute repeater is considered the ultimate timepiece; one of the best makers of repeater watches is Patek Philippe, which introduced their first striking watch in 1839.But only the lucky few will ever own one. Reference 5074 , is one of the largest minute repeater wristwatch made by Patek Philippe with in house Caliber R27Q, which features micro-rotor construction, Cathedral gongs, 39 jewels, power reserve of 48 hours, 467 individual parts, and is stamped with the Geneva Seal. This spectacular was introduced in 2002 and the yellow gold case was discontinued in 2005/6. To our best knowledge, there less than 25 examples were produced in 18k yellow gold.
