Notes

In year 2000, Patek Philippe introduced a series of limited edition wristwatches to commemorate the new millennium.
Reference 5100 stands out with its gorgeous case design and with its groundbreaking 10-day power reserve movement. It was
the first time in the history of watchmaking for a wristwatch to feature a 10-day power reserve, which is indicated at the 12
o’clock on the dial.

The intriguing case design is inspired by the historical Reference 2442, nicknamed “Manta Ray” for its dramatically flared case
bands that resemble the giant, charismatic sea creature.

Reference 5100 was released as limited editions in different quantities for each case material variation. 1500 examples were
produced in yellow gold with silvered dial, 750 examples in pink gold with anthracite dial, 450 examples in white gold with blue dial, and the rarest of all, 300 examples in platinum with black dial. This lot in white gold is a handsome piece to own for its rarity accompanied with sporty blue dial.
