Launched in a limited edition to celebrate the new Millenium the Ref.5100 is Patek Philippe's first 10-day movement. The case design was based on the 1950s Ref.2556, which itself was based on the graceful shape of the Manta Ray fish. The series was available as follows: Yellow gold with silvered dial, 1500 examples; Rose gold with anthracite dial, 750 examples; White gold with blue dial, 450 examples; Platinum with black dial, 300 examples
