Notes

Presented during BaselWorld 2010, the Reference 5170 was the first men’s wristwatch in which Patek Philippe highlighted their first in-house designed and manufactured chronograph movement caliber CH 29-535 PS, stamped with the Patek Philippe’s Seal.

This innovative movement required five years to develop and record six new innovative patents, while retaining the
traditional column wheel design. It replaced the 12-year production run of Reference 5070, and was discontinued in 2013, replaced by Reference 5172.
