Released in 2019, the reference 5172G-00 – replacing the reference 5170 – features a slightly larger case than its predecessor (41 mm.) and a matte blue dial with applied white gold luminous Arabic numerals. With a case drawn as an homage to the vintage design of the 1960’s chronograph, it shows the ability of Patek Philippe to reinvent itself, while respecting the strong roots which made its reputation.
