Notes

Production of the oversize reference 530 started in 1938 fitted with the caliber 12-120. This particular very early example was produced in the second year of production as it was manufactured in 1939 and sold in June 1942. Fresh to the market, this example was completely serviced by Patek Philippe Geneva in January 1999. Already being extremely rare in steel, this example fitted with a rose dial and applied Breguet indexes (as confirmed by the extract from the archives) is, to the best of our knowledge, the only known example so far.

Provenance

Property of an Italian Gentleman
