PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 533 BLACK DIAL PINK GOLD Patek Philippe & Co, Genève, movement No. 862203, case No. 618900, Ref. 533. Made in 1938, sold on November 28th, 1939. Very fine and very rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, black dial, register, tachometer. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs, snap on case back. Pink with applied pink gold bâton and Roman 12,6 numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outer tachometer graduation. Pink gold baton hands. Cal. 13```, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, 8 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator.

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 33 mm. THICKNESS 11.5 mm. REFERENCE 533 began in 1937 and is identical to the REFERENCE 130 except for the bezel which is flat. The watch has almost never been worn since it was purchased at auction over 12 years ago. The case has been well preserved showing a clean and deep hallmark under the lug, as well as an extremely rare pink gold case and an original black dial as confirmed by the extract from the archives.
