Notes

The Patek Philippe Ref 533 holds a special place in the hearts of Patek Philippe enthusiasts. Unveiled in 1937, this timepiece exemplifies the brand’s dedication to elegance and craftsmanship. With its Calatrava case and flat bezel, it is often regarded as the quintessential 1950s chronograph. The Reference 130 shares the same movement but with its concave bezel.

This particular Ref 533, produced in 1942 according to the copy of the Patek Philippe archive, is exceptionally rare. It features a thick pink gold case with 2 crisp hallmarks indicating little polish and a very attractive original dial with raised enamel that has turned to a warm copper color that perfecty matches the case color.
