Notes

To many vintage Patek Philippe collectors, the reference 565 remains one of the most collectible due to its avant-guarde design. Built in a large for the time case of 35 mm, it features a an attractive smooth bezel and a waterproof antimagnetic case built by Taubert & Fils (case stamp FB), previously known as Francois Borgel. Made in 2 versions one with a center-second (caliber 12 SC, later the 27 SC) and the other with subsidiary seconds such as this example produced under 2 calibers (intially the 12-120 until about 1950 later the 12-400).

Pink gold versions are extremely rare and only about 30 examples have appeared at auction. Kept in very good condition showing a nice original dial with raised enamel as well a crisp hallmark on the side of the case and 2 further stamps on the outer caseback.

Please note that an extract of the archives will not be available as the timepiece does not correspond to their records.
