Introduced in 1932, with the reference 96, the Calatrava is probably one of the most iconic classic watch model in the history of horology. The successor to the famed reference 96 Calatrava, the reference 570 was its oversize sister reference, the case going from 31 mm to 35 mm. Launched in 1938, this reference was produced for 30 consecutive years, until 1972. It came in a variety of configuration, made in yellow, white, rose, platinum and steel as well as two-tone with a number of dial diversities including roman, Arabic, Breguet, and of course batons. In addition this piece is sold with a beautiful white gold riveted bracelet with deployant clasp a in the gay Frère Style. Such watch as this one are embodying perfectly the Generation’s campaign motto : “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation”.
