Notes

World time watches and chronographs are among the most popular complications among mechanical watches. Watches connoisseurs were previously only familiar with this combination from a single piece from the 1940s.

In 2016, Patek Philippe introduced a new reference 5930, these two complications come together for the first time in a model from the regular Patek Philippe collection. The world time is indicated through a 24-city ring on the outer rim of the dial paired with the 24-hour ring; the chronograph has a central seconds counter and a 30-minute totalizer at 6:00.Ref. 5930G-001 was replaced by ref. 5930G-010. The latter has Beijing rather than Hong Kong on the city track.
