Notes

The Patek Philippe reference 5980/1A-001 was introduced in 2006 along with reference 5711 and 5712 in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Patek’s iconic sports watch, the 5980 is the first Nautilus model to have a fly-back chronograph complication. It features a stainless-steel case of 40.5mm with a blue dial and a matching integrated bracelet. Produced for a brief period of three years, from 2006 to 2009.

In 2010, the dial color changed to grey; with new reference 5980/1A-014. The movement is punched with the Patek Philippe Seal.

This presented example was purchased by the original owner in 2010, remains in factory single-sealed condition, and is completed with a sales invoice, original box, original certificate, instruction booklet and tag, to make it a true collector item.
