PATEK PHILIPPE, PINK GOLD DRESS WATCH Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, movement No. 880686, case No. 619581. Ref. 682. Made in 1939, sold on September 27th, 1939. Very fine, 18K pink gold keyless dress watch. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe box and extract from the archives.
Three-body, polished and brushed, stepped flat and curved bezel, inverted "U" shaped bow, snap-on back. Brushed gilt with painted baton and applied pink gold dot and faceted baton indexes, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Pink gold baton hands. Cal. 17''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, stamped twice with the seal of Geneva quality mark, 18 jewels, straight- line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to heat and cold, isochronism and five positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
