Notes

There is no doubt that art-deco designed pocket watches by Patek Philippe in white metals are probably the most aesthetically pleasing realisations ever produced by the firm. This example made in stainless steel was made in the 1930's as one can tell from the design of the bow, pushers and the beautiful dial layout with tachymeter scale, minute-counter at 12 and a mix of baton and arabic numerals. Made in a near perfect 47 mm.size, it appears that most of these cases were supplied to Patek Philippe by Wenger. With a dial kept in wonderful collection and retailed by Hausmann, these are amongst the most desired stainless steel pock watches ever made.
