Notes

Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM.31 mm. THICKNESS 9 mm. Purchased new by the father of the consignor at the PATEK PHILIPPE store in Geneva in 1945, this REF. 96 was worn on rare occasions only. Our research indicates that although the beautiful pink gold GAY FRERES bracelet is not mentioned in the Patek Philippe archives, there is no doubt that it was purchased shortly after. Maintained in impeccable condition with a CRISP HALLMARK to the side of the case as well as its original pink dial, the fact that the original certificate and box also come with the watch attests to the overall quality of conservation of this beautiful CALATRAVA.
