?Solar-Powered Clock? Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 873808, Ref. 1380. Made circa 1970. Fine, rectangular, gilt brass, solarpowered clock with electricaly-wound remontoir.
C. Brushed brass, 4 square columns, the top with solar cells, hinged back door. D. Silvered with applied facted gilt baton indexes and radial lines. Brass ?baton? hands. M. Cal. based on a 17''' ?Gondolo? keyless mechanical movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold and 1 position, ?swan neck? micrometer regulator, solar-powered with lithium battery backup, driving a remontoir train which replaces the barrel spring. Dial and movement signed. Dim. height 14.2 cm., width 19.8 cm., depth 9 cm.
