Platinum ?Top Hat? Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 971660, case No. 656777, Ref. 1450. Made in 1949, sold on May 30, 1950. Very fine and very rare, rectangular, bombé, platinum wristwatch with a stainless steel Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, polished and brushed, hooded lugs, bombé crystal. D. Matte silver with applied white gold baton and dot indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. White gold baton hands. M. Cal. 9'''-90, tonneau, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 25 x 38 mm. Thickness 10 mm.
