Notes

In these early models of Ref. 1463, the bezel finished at the band. It was not until the early 1950s that stepped bezels appeared. Ref. 1463 Production of this reference started in 1940. Only a few examples were made in stainless steel. In addition, its two-tone dial makes it extremely desirable for collectors. A similar watch is published in "Patek Philippe Wristwatches", by Martin Huber and Alan Banbery, 1998, page 267.
