Notes

Production of this reference started in 1940. The reference was produced in yellow and pink gold, and a few examples in stainless steel. The first models of Ref. 1463, made in the 1940s, had bezels which continued to the band, this changed in the early 1950s to a stepped bezel. A similar watch is published in "Patek Philippe Wristwatches", by Martin Huber and Alan Banbery, 1998, page 267.
