Ref. 1463, ?Yellow Gold? Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 868360, case No. 672754, Ref. 1463. Made in 1952, sold on February 23th, 1953. Extremely fine and rare, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back, antimagnetic dust protecting cap, concave lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold dot indexes and Roman numerals, minute/seconds and 1/5th seconds tracks, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outer tachometer scale graduated to 300 unit/hour. Yellow gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with eight adjustments, Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 10.5 mm.

Ref. 1463 Production of this reference started in 1940. The reference was produced in yellow and pink gold, and a few examples in stainless steel. The first models of Ref. 1463, made in the 1940s, had bezels which continued to the band, this changed in the early 1950s to a stepped bezel. This reference was produced in stainless steel, yellow gold and pink gold.
