Exceptionally rare, fine and large, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Pink with applied pink gold bâton indexes and Roman numerals, subsidiary sunk seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer 1/5th second scale, outermost tachometer graduation in blue Arabic numerals. Pink gold "bâton" hands. M. Cal. 13 ''', stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium plated, ?fausses-cotes? decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, 8 adjustments, Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 36 mm. Height 11,5 mm.

Notes

Among all Patek Philippe chronographs, Ref. 1506 is surely the rarest and therefore the least well-known. Of an extra- large size for the time, with straight lugs decorated by three facets, only three examples are known to date; two in pink gold with pink dial, and one in yellow gold.
