PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 1518 PERPETUAL CALENDAR CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Patek Philippe, Genève, No. 862930, case No. 629588, Ref. 1518. Made in 1942, sold June 12th, 1943. Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with perpetual calendar, moon phases, square button chronograph, register and tachometer. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives and an associated 18K yellow gold bracelet.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave bezel and lugs, snap-on case back, 8 mm winding crown. D. Satine silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals and round indexes, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, graduation for the days of the month at 6, outer 1/5th seconds track and tachometer graduation, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases. Yellow gold feuille hands. M. 13???, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator.
