In 1942 the shape of Ref. 1526 was not settled yet. This particulare watch being one among the few watches made, all different from each other before the last developpment was found. The mayn feature in the design of this watch consist by the graduation of the date inside the seconds ring on the auxiliary dial. Other features are the concave form of the bezel and the case looking much thinner. A very similar watch is published in "Collezionare Orologi Patek Philippe" by M. and O. Patrizzi, p. 249.
