Very fine and very rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, faceted teardrop lugs, snap-on case back engraved with ?I Eatifully, 40, My Love, Patty, 1-6-88?. D. Two-tone pink with applied pink gold Arabic 12 and 6 numerals, printed baton indexes, outer minute and 1/5th second track, subsidiary dials for the seconds and 30-minute register, outermost tachometer scale. Pink gold baton hands. M. 13''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with 8 adjustments, self-compensating steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 11 mm.

Due to its large size, Ref. 1579 is one of the most sought-after non water-resistant Patek Philippe chronographs.
Ref. 1579 Production of this reference began in 1943. This reference was produced in Staybrite (very rare), in steel with pink gold lugs, bezel, and crown (extremely rare), in yellow gold (standard production), pink and in white gold (extremely rare). Only three examples were made in platinum.
