Patek Philippe - Yellow Gold, Ref. 1579 Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 867418, case No. 651857, Ref. 1579. Made circa 1951. Very fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe buckle.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, faceted lapidated lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold baton indexes and Arabic 12 and 6 numerals, outer minute and 1/5th second track with 5-minute/seconds Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outermost tachometer scale. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with 8 adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
