Extremely fine and very rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K pink gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, faceted teardrop lugs. D. Matte silver with applied pink gold pyramidal indexes and Arabic 12 and 6 numerals, outer minute and 1/5th second track, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outermost tachometer scale. Pink gold feuille hands. M. 13''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 11 mm.

The pink gold reference 1579 is very rare and is confi rmed by the Extract from the Archives as is the silvered dial with raised hour markers in gold. Ref. 1579. Production of this reference began in 1943 Made in: - platinum (only three examples known, one sold by Antiquorum lot 119, October 2004) - yellow gold (quite rare) - pink gold (very rare) - Staybrite and gold (gold bezel, lugs, and crown, only two pieces known).
