Ref. 2496, ?Platinum and Diamond? Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 748599, case No. 516193, Ref. 2496. Made in 1958, sold on November 26th, 1958. Very fine and rare, square, platinum and diamond-set wristwatch with an 18K white gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, bezel and lugs set with 36 baguette diamonds (approx. 2.42 cts). D. Matte silver with applied white gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. White gold baton hands. M. Cal. 10???200, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, shock absorber, selfcompensating steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 26 x 26.5 mm. Thickness 7 mm.
