Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 888038, case No. 678865, Ref. 2497, circa 1953, (3rd serie) produced in 179 examples 1952 to1963 (3rd serie 1958-1960 ca). Very fine and rare, astronomic, center second, 18ct gold gentleman's wristwatch, with perpetual calender and moon phases.

D. mat silver, with applied gold indexes and Arabic numerals, graduation for the days of the month, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the lunations. "Feuille" gold hands. M. 27 SC Q Geneva Quality Hall Mark, rhodiumed, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to heat, cold isochronism and 5 positions, antishock system, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. In excellent condition. Diam. 37 mm.
