"Chronometro Gondolo"The "Chronometro Gondolo" were exclusively produced by Patek Philippe for the firm Gondolo & Labouriau ó Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since 1902. They had to incorporate the following technical details to fulfill the requirements of this important retailer: - 9K gold wheel train. - Straight line lever escapement "à moustaches". - 18, 19, 20 or even 21 jewels. - Patek Philippe micrometric index patented on 13 January 1891. - Mainspring barrel arbor fitted with a winding square. The "Chronometro Gondolo" could be made in different dimensions, from 10 ''' to 22 ''', with different cases, dial and hands. Some were also produced with chronograph or center-seconds.Patek Philippe never produced any other watches with a gold wheel train.
